2012 Monthly Photo Challenge | AUGUST | Rainbow - Bright | Connecticut Newborn Baby Photographer

Once again, late as usual. My apologies. In my defense, our submission deadline for this month's challenge was on the night of my daughter's 13th birthday, and the night before her party, so as you can imagine there was big stuff happening in the Puzzo house :)

So, as you know I have joined forces with some online photographer friends to do a monthly photo challenge. Each month is a different color, and we all post photos representing our interpretation of that months color choices. August was Rainbow - bright colors - any or all bright colors of the rainbow. A little tricky for me, since I am mainly a newborn photographer, and I tend to use more pastel colors 90% of the time :) With that being said, I managed to round up a few photos for your viewing pleasure :)

In honor of my daughter's birthday, lets start with a photo of her :)

Just like with the adorable picture of my son below from last month, I am the proud owner of a beautiful 16x24 canvas of this gorgeous picture. Im glad I took these the day she had her hair colored purple - because it washed right out ;) Ahhhh. I cant believe my baby is 13!!!

Well, lets keep moving along - to other people's babies ;) heheheee

This little diva is Miss Hannah. All she wanted to do during her session was take a nap ;) hahahaa! She made us work, but her Momma is going to love the shots I got! :)

I'll sneak this one in too. My little man again. A little mini back to school nerd set up ;) 

This is Miss Bianca in all of her gorgeous rainbow colors! :) She just turned one - and again, made me work - but Momma is going to be in love with her images from her session! She is one of the prettiest babies Ive ever had the pleasure to photograph - her eyes are TO DIE FOR!!!!!

2012 Monthly Photo Challenge | JULY | Red, White, and/or Blue | Connecticut Newborn Baby Photographer

Hello all! Welcome back to another episode of my monthly color challenge! Naturally, with it being July, this months theme was red, white and blue! This month, I have a couple photos for your viewing pleasure!

First up is one of my own: this is my little man, Aiden. He is definitely a photographers child. He got a new outfit {that he picked out on his own} on Sunday, and put it on yesterday, and requested a photo shoot! Since I dont take enough photos of my own kids, I was very happy to go along with his request! I got some very adorable shots which I have yet to edit - but this one was my favorite out of the bunch, so of course I did a quick edit right away - and promptly ordered a nice big 16x24 canvas of this one! ;)

He is 6, and has the best personality ever!!! <3

Next up on my list is my little family {minus one} on 4th of July - obviously I didnt TAKE this one, since Im in it - but I did set it up - so I helped before jumping in front of the camera! ;)

and, as a bonus I have a couple more cute baby girls to share with you all today!!

First up is little Arabella Snow. Dont you adore her name?!! She was 12 days old here, and a tiny little thing weighing in at 5lbs and change! What a cutie she is!

So sweet!!! 

and then last, but not least! Miss Madelyn! She is just about 8 months old, and was the happiest, smileyist baby!! I could have kept taking pictures of her for days!!! 

Ahhh! Isnt she gorgeous?!!

2012 Photo Challenge | February - Red and/or Pink | Connecticut Photographer

Well, Im a day late on this  -  but in my defense, Ive been knee deep in painting my house! So, it kinda slipped my mind - my apologies to my fellow participants!

This month's theme for our photo challenge was Pink and/or red. I was super excited about this, with pink being my favorite color and all! I didnt get to do exactly what I wanted to do - but I at least got a cute picture of my little Miss all dolled up in pink - which is a rarity these days! Now that shes a tween, shes decided that pink is no longer the coolest color on the planet, and BLUE is. Booo! hahaha ;) I suppose that shouldnt be a big deal, since her first 10 years of life were spent in anything pink that I could find! I couldnt help it, she looks so good in pink!

These could have been much, much better pictures - but I rushed to get a shot for the theme! But, they are still beautiful because they are my beautiful daughter!!! I just wish I had more time to be creative with this!!
Next month will be better!!!

My beautiful girl! Its crazy how fast time flies! It seems like just the other day she was a tiny baby all wrapped up in pink!!! :)

2012 Photo Challenge | January - Blue & White | Connecticut Baby Photographer

Hello everyone!

So, one of my "New Years Resolutions" this year was (... drumroll) to USE MY BLOG! hahaa Yes, Ive been a huge, huge slacker when it comes to blogging! So, in an effort to commit myself to using the blog, I joined a group of photographers who are participating in a monthly photo challenge. Every  month, we are given a theme (color(s)) and we are to take a photo that describes that theme. On the 25th of every month, we will all post to our blogs our interpretation of that months theme. There is a group of 14 of us - and I encourage you to take a quick *ride* through all of our blogs, and check out what everyone has come up with for our theme!! Comments are awesome! :)

Our theme for this month is "Blue and/or White"
Since Im sure some people will probably go with the obvious  -  snow  -  I wanted to steer away from that. On Tuesday, I had an adorable little lady in my studio, and since my main focus in my photography is babies anyways, I thought I would take advantage of this little cutie pie in front of me, and use her for my photo challenge!

Without further ado, here is my blue and white beauty!
