2012 Monthly Photo Challenge | JULY | Red, White, and/or Blue | Connecticut Newborn Baby Photographer

Hello all! Welcome back to another episode of my monthly color challenge! Naturally, with it being July, this months theme was red, white and blue! This month, I have a couple photos for your viewing pleasure!

First up is one of my own: this is my little man, Aiden. He is definitely a photographers child. He got a new outfit {that he picked out on his own} on Sunday, and put it on yesterday, and requested a photo shoot! Since I dont take enough photos of my own kids, I was very happy to go along with his request! I got some very adorable shots which I have yet to edit - but this one was my favorite out of the bunch, so of course I did a quick edit right away - and promptly ordered a nice big 16x24 canvas of this one! ;)

He is 6, and has the best personality ever!!! <3

Next up on my list is my little family {minus one} on 4th of July - obviously I didnt TAKE this one, since Im in it - but I did set it up - so I helped before jumping in front of the camera! ;)

and, as a bonus I have a couple more cute baby girls to share with you all today!!

First up is little Arabella Snow. Dont you adore her name?!! She was 12 days old here, and a tiny little thing weighing in at 5lbs and change! What a cutie she is!

So sweet!!! 

and then last, but not least! Miss Madelyn! She is just about 8 months old, and was the happiest, smileyist baby!! I could have kept taking pictures of her for days!!! 

Ahhh! Isnt she gorgeous?!!

2012 Monthly Photo Challenge | JUNE | Pastel | Connecticut Newborn Baby Photographer

Hello everyone! Another month has passed, another photo challenge to post!

The colors for June's photo challenge were "PASTEL/RAINBOW" - so basically and and all pastel colors we can think of! Ive been insanely busy between the studio, editing, and kids activities, so I didnt really have the time to get creative like I wanted to this month! If youre catching this for the first time, I am involved with a group of photographers who have joined in a monthly photography challenge - each month, we are presented with different colors, and on the 26th of each month, we post our photos of those colors. Its always fun to see each different photographers interpretation of the same color(s)!

For this month, I chose some pictures of Miss Lucianna :) Lucianna just so happens to be the cousin of the baby I posted last month, Isabelle! Their mommies are cousins, and their birthdays are just a few days apart from eachother, just like Isabelle and Lucianna! :)

So, here are a couple images from sweet Lucianna's newborn session this month! I hope you enjoy them!

2012 Monthly Photo Challenge | MAY | Yellow and/or Blue | Connecticut Newborn Baby Photographer

Well, its that time again! My monthly photo challenge! It seems that this is all I have time to get blogged these days too! Shame on me!!! There is alot going on in the world of Lynn Puzzo Photography! :Lots of changes, lots of improvements - and lots of excitement!!!

So, a quick recap: I am involved in a group of photographers, and we are all participating in a monthly photo challenge - we are given a color or two, and allowed to photograph anything that inspires us in those color(s). It seems I tend to stick to my babies in theme colors ;) hehehee! What can I say, for me, newborns are the best!!!

This months colors are YELLOW and/or BLUE. And this month's photo is super special to me!! This beautiful baby girl is a very good friend of mines baby girl Isabelle! I have known her Momma, Kirby, since my Picture People days began some 9ish years ago!!! Isabelle is her and her husbands second beautiful daughter, and not only was I fortunate enough to be able to photograph Isabelle in her newborn days, I was also honored to have been there for her birth!!

Without any more jibber jabber, I'll give you what you're waiting for... the goods!!! :) Here is Miss Isabelle Grace, on her 8th day of her beautiful new life! Isabelle, you are a beautiful baby girl, and I am so grateful to be friends with your mommy and daddy, and Im excited to watch you and your beautiful big sister grow!!! I love you guys!!! xoxoxox

2012 Photo Challenge | April | Pink and/or Purple | Connecticut Maternity Photographer

Hellooooooo all! I'll skip the talk about how Im late... and behind and get right to the good stuff! April's photo challenge colors are pink and/or purple - so whats better than including them both in the same photo?!!

It was REALLY HARD for me to choose a photo from this session to share! They are a beautiful family, and their photos are amazing!! I cant wait for their new baby to arrive next month!

So, for now, I introduce you to Anthony and his new sibling-to-be!!! <3 LOVE!!!

I love this picture!!! It is one of my favorites from the session! 2012 Photo Challenge | March | Yellow/Gold and/or Green | Connecticut Newborn Photographer

So, apparently Im more behind on blogging than I thought... woops! The last month has been so busy personally, with painting and cleaning - that wasnt as easy as my husband and I anticipated it being! hahahaha!!!

This month's theme for our monthly [color] photo blog challenge is GREEN and/or YELLOW/GOLD. I am going to post one of each for this month! :)

So again, to remind you all of whats going on here - once a month, the participants of this challenge will take a photo (or how ever many they want!) that incorporates the chosen colors for the month, and then they post their interpretation on their own blogs - and then all of our blogs link to eachother! Please take a moment to follow the links and take a peek at everyone's photos for the month! Its always fun and interesting to see other's photographers vision of the same theme!!

First: YELLOW :)

I just happened to snap this ADOOOORRRRABLE picture last week during a newborn session!!

Without further ado, I introduce to you Miss Anna, who is 8 days old in this photo!! She was an absolute ANGEL for her photos (as was her big brother!) and never made a peep the entire session! She was a photographers DREAM! I got too many pictures of her, Im going to have a hard time narrowing them down for mom - and poor mom, shes never going to be able to choose from this beautiful girls photos! ;)

There will be lots more to come of this pretty little lady!! 

Second: GREEN

A picture of little man, James! Isnt he adorable?! James came to see me on the 14th, so it was just a couple days before St. Patrick's Day - perfect for this tie! He was such a cutie as well - and although he was pretty determined in the beginning to be awake for our session, I won [insert giggles here], and we got lots of adorable sleepy shots of him!!! :)

2012 Photo Challenge | February - Red and/or Pink | Connecticut Photographer

Well, Im a day late on this  -  but in my defense, Ive been knee deep in painting my house! So, it kinda slipped my mind - my apologies to my fellow participants!

This month's theme for our photo challenge was Pink and/or red. I was super excited about this, with pink being my favorite color and all! I didnt get to do exactly what I wanted to do - but I at least got a cute picture of my little Miss all dolled up in pink - which is a rarity these days! Now that shes a tween, shes decided that pink is no longer the coolest color on the planet, and BLUE is. Booo! hahaha ;) I suppose that shouldnt be a big deal, since her first 10 years of life were spent in anything pink that I could find! I couldnt help it, she looks so good in pink!

These could have been much, much better pictures - but I rushed to get a shot for the theme! But, they are still beautiful because they are my beautiful daughter!!! I just wish I had more time to be creative with this!!
Next month will be better!!!

My beautiful girl! Its crazy how fast time flies! It seems like just the other day she was a tiny baby all wrapped up in pink!!! :)

Chase {8 days new} | Connecticut Newborn Photographer

I love taking pictures. Ive had a camera in my hand pretty regularly since I was 10 years old, and my baby brother was born. I did nothing but take pictures of that child when he was little - if I only knew then that would become my career! hahaha!! I love, in general, just taking pictures. But newborns are a whole new ballgame. The sessions take a long time, and sometimes can be pretty difficult depending on the baby - but the payout is worth it ten times over! I say every day, I wish I had professional newborn portraits of my kids when they were tiny. Of course I have pictures  -  because I took them nonstop! But I wish I had THESE photos!!!

Here is Mr. Chase. He did make me work, since he was determined he would miss something if he slept for our session ;) hehehee! But, as I said - in the end, its always worth it!

Laura & Alysse | Connecticut Family Photographer

Laura and Alysse were beautiful, energetic and sweet little girls that came to see me a few weeks ago!! They were full of life, and just adorable!

Kyle | Connecticut Baby Photographer

Sorry, trying to catch up on some blogging - so I kinda got ahead of myself, and now these are out of order - but still just as cute! ;) hehehe

This is Kyle. Kyle's Mommy owns CR Socials Event Planning Services here in Ct, and has been bringing little Kyle to me since he was a few days old. He just had his second session of his First Year Milestones Package - he's already six months old! Time not only really flies when youre a mommy - but its just as bad when youre a photographer, watching babies grow through your lenses!

Mommy loved the idea of the suitcases that I had set up, since a couple days later they went on a family vacation! hehehee!

Happy First Birthday, Jackie! | Connecticut First Birthday / Cake Smash Photographer

Miss Jackie! What a doll she is! She came to me last fall to have pictures with her big brother, and for most of the session was pretty serious - Im not sure I got her to crack a smile even once! hahaha So, she was here a couple weeks ago for her first birthday session, the day before her big 1st birthday bash - and this time, she was full of smiles - and full of FUN!!! Mommy brought the best outfits for her, too!!!

2012 Photo Challenge | January - Blue & White | Connecticut Baby Photographer

Hello everyone!

So, one of my "New Years Resolutions" this year was (... drumroll) to USE MY BLOG! hahaa Yes, Ive been a huge, huge slacker when it comes to blogging! So, in an effort to commit myself to using the blog, I joined a group of photographers who are participating in a monthly photo challenge. Every  month, we are given a theme (color(s)) and we are to take a photo that describes that theme. On the 25th of every month, we will all post to our blogs our interpretation of that months theme. There is a group of 14 of us - and I encourage you to take a quick *ride* through all of our blogs, and check out what everyone has come up with for our theme!! Comments are awesome! :)

Our theme for this month is "Blue and/or White"
Since Im sure some people will probably go with the obvious  -  snow  -  I wanted to steer away from that. On Tuesday, I had an adorable little lady in my studio, and since my main focus in my photography is babies anyways, I thought I would take advantage of this little cutie pie in front of me, and use her for my photo challenge!

Here's a sneak peek of Logan and Isabella! When they came to me for their photos, they were a couple days shy of 3 months. They were born super early, and are brave and strong and getting bigger every day! I know Mommy and Daddy are super proud and happy! The other thing they are is absolutely ADORABLE!!!! :) They were so cute, and awesome babies!! They pretty much slept through the whole session. ;)

Jagger and Cody first came to me as tiny little newborn baby boys, only a few days old! I am lucky enough to be able to be a part of their first year, and watch them grow!!

Here they are at their last session, they are already six  months old! Its amazing how fast time time goes by! You see it with your own children, but it seems even faster with other children who you dont see on a daily basis!

I love how Cody and Jagger look nothing like eachother, but just like Mommy and Daddy! You can see where these two cuties get their good looks from in these photos! :)
